Absolutely wonderful scooter for the money!
I purchased this scooter for my 8 year old grandson and he absolutely loves it. I thought it would be a bit taller but for the money there is no better purchase. I enjoy riding it myself. It also goes for hours without having to be recharged. Amazing and wonderful purchase! Very easy to assemble also.

Ive seen better
If youre really considering this thing you should check out the Super Turbo 800watt Elite 36v Electric Scooter also on Amazon. It is way better in every respect... speed battery life durability build quality.

This scooter is cheaper because it is built cheaply. It does not last as long has nonexistent support and sad build quality.

Owned for almost 3 years and still love it!
I bought this for my then 8 year old daughter (came from Santa) almost three years ago. Kids teens & adults love it and quality must be good because Ive not done a darn thing to maintain the scooter. Today is the first time Ive had to pay attention to it as the inner tube on back tire (Im guessing) is kaput. I just purchase two inner tubes from Monster Scooter Parts (on sale for 9.99 each) but you can also get parts from [...]. I do recall I had difficulty attaching the front tire piece to the main part of the bike because the screw was recessed so deeply or some such thing that it took me like two hours to get it attached. But other than that this razor scooter is still a big hit and I look forward to years more with this toy.

Please dont waste your money
We bought this for our daughter as a Christmas gift. At first it was really great -- the scooter worked very well and she absolutely loved it.

Within a couple of months we noticed the machine slowing down significantly to the point where she had to get off the scooter and walk it up the street. We filled the tires with air with no improvement.

We called Razor next and they told us to buy a new battery (for $50 only available from their website). We did and the thing still doesnt work. At that point Razor told us "Too bad its out of warranty" so now were stuck with a $200 piece of junk.

Some things to note: our daughter was *well* within the weight limits for the scooter. She took excellent care of it and we stored it inside our home. We did take it to a car repair shop but there was nothing they could do for us in terms of parts/repair and they couldnt tell us what was wrong with the machine.
